But more than just offering standalone vacuum cleaning, the 7812 has an outlet that can be used to connect power tools and filter out all of the dust and particles during operation.

Designed for use as a general purpose shop vacuum, the 7812 can also be used to provide a dust-free environment when attached to a power tool. It features a built-in outlet for use with power tools, and the vacuum starts automatically when tool is turned on. When the power tool is turned off, the vacuum motor will continue to run for 6 to 10 seconds to finish collecting the dust, and then it will stop.

The 7812 delivers 99.85 percent filtration efficiency--great for fine particulate pick-up like drywall or solid-surface dust. The dual filtration system consists of a washable automotive-type paper filter and 2-ply, 10-gallon paper filter bag. Other features include a corrosion resistant polypropylene tank, large wheels for easy maneuvering, a parking brake to prevent vacuum from rolling, and a convenient flat top surface tray for holding tools while working.

Warranty

This Porter-Cable tool is backed by three-year limited warranty covering any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship (from the date of purchase). It's also covered by Porter-Cable's one-year free service contract, where Porter-Cable will maintain the tool and replace worn parts caused by normal use--for free.
